Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Alfon Taps Limited collects when you use alfonairflowltd.com, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
When you place an order
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your billing and delivery addresses.
- What you ordered, and the price paid.
- Your GST number, if you choose to give one.
When you create an account
The same contact details, plus any addresses you save and your order history. Your password is never stored as text - only as a cryptographic hash that cannot be read back, not by us and not by anyone who obtained the database.
You do not need an account to buy from us. Guest checkout is available, and ordering as a guest never creates an account for you.
When you contact us
What you send through the contact form or a dealer enquiry - your name, company, contact details and your message.
Automatically
Our servers keep ordinary access logs, and we record the IP address and browser identifier attached to an order. This is for security and fraud investigation. We do not use advertising or profiling trackers on this site.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, so we can improve the site. It records things like the pages you view, how you arrived, your approximate location and the type of device and browser. We do not send it your name, email, phone number, address or anything you type into a form, and we do not use it for advertising.
What we do not collect
We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay on their own systems. What comes back to us is a payment reference and whether it succeeded.
Why we hold it
- To take, pack, despatch and account for your order.
- To send you order confirmations, despatch notices and tracking.
- To answer your questions and handle returns.
- To meet our tax and company-law obligations.
- To detect and investigate fraud.
We do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it, and we never sell or rent your personal information to anybody.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers we need to fulfil your order, and only the part each of them needs:
- Razorpay - to take the payment.
- Delhivery or Shiprocket and the courier they assign - whichever carries your parcel - your name, delivery address and phone number, so the parcel can be delivered.
- Zoho - our email provider, which carries the messages we send you.
- Google - Google Analytics, which receives the visit information described above. Google's own use of it is covered by Google's privacy policy.
- Our accountants and auditors, and any authority we are legally required to disclose to.
How long we keep it
Order, invoice and payment records are kept for eight years, which is what Indian tax and company law requires of us. Contact and enquiry messages are kept for three years. Account details are kept until you ask us to close the account.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Administrative access is restricted and logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not keep what we do not need - which is why we hold no card details at all.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete your account, or stop sending you email. Write to [email protected] from the address on the account and we will respond within 30 days.
We may have to keep order and invoice records even after closing an account, because tax law requires it. In that case we keep the records and nothing else.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work: one that keeps you signed in, and one that remembers your cart and your language. We also use Google Analytics cookies to count visits. They are not needed for the site to work, and blocking them in your browser, or with Google's opt-out add-on, changes nothing else. There are no advertising cookies. Blocking the necessary ones will stop the cart and sign in from working.
Children
This is a trade site for workshop equipment. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top of this page.
