Wholesale enquiryThe Air Flow Mushroom Plug Patch is a combination repair for tyre punctures. The stem fills the puncture channel through the tread while the round patch base seals the inside surface of the tyre, so the injury is closed from both directions in one piece rather than with a separate plug and patch. It is fitted from the inside of the tyre, which means the tyre has to come off the rim and go on the bench - this is the workshop repair rather than the roadside one. The wire guide at the tip of the stem is used to pull the plug through the drilled hole, and the excess stem is trimmed flush with the tread once the patch is rolled down. Supplied in 6 mm, 9 mm and 12 mm sizes so the repair can be matched to the size of the injury.
